Accurate record keeping helps us avoid repeatedly asking tenants for the same information and helps all our staff provide accessible and inclusive services.
We will record, manage and use all data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information we will record, as agreed with the tenant, will include:
- relevant and necessary information on their support needs, circumstances or vulnerability
- the support or reasonable adjustment we have agreed to provide
- details of relevant support agencies or other professionals working with the tenant
- details of any known representative the tenant has authorised us to liaise with on their behalf
- information on any aids or adaptations installed in/ made at the property
- a record of action we have taken. This can include, but is not limited to, completing a home visit or making a referral to another service
This information will be available to all staff in Housing Services involved in directly providing landlord services to the tenant.
