We will provide landlord services which are fair and accessible to all our tenants and prospective tenants. In doing so, we will support them to keep to the terms of their tenancy and live safely and comfortably in their home.
We will:
- communicate clearly and provide information in alternative languages or formats if required
- identify, assess and keep a digital record of tenants' support needs
- tailor our services and make reasonable adjustments where required
- allow tenants and prospective tenants to be supported by a representative or advocate when communicating with us
- help tenants manage their tenancies by making referrals to support services where needed
- ensure staff have the skills, tools and knowledge required to follow this policy.
- make safeguarding referrals whenever needed
- develop and review this policy in partnership with our tenants
We will provide tenants with information about this policy at the start of their tenancy.
Safeguarding means working together to prevent and stop both the risks and experience of abuse or neglect.
