A tenant, or a representative acting on their behalf, can contact us at any time to tell us about a support need or vulnerability. By phone 0800 023 4499, email housing.repairs@lbhf.gov.uk or by post at 145 King Street, W6 9XY. You can also inform our staff during a home visit, a meeting or telephone discussion.
We will be mindful of any possible support need or vulnerability in all our interactions with our tenants.
We may become aware of support needs while providing any of our housing or neighbourhood services. This can include:
- when we are allocating a home, or at tenancy sign up
- when we visit a tenant in their home as part of our programme of home visits/ tenancy audits, or wellbeing checks for tenants in sheltered housing
- during estate walkabouts or estate inspections
- when we are doing the annual gas safety inspection, making a routine repair or making any improvements to homes, buildings, estates and neighbourhoods
- if the tenant, or their authorised representative, contacts us about their tenancy
- if we are in contact with a tenant about rent arrears
- if a tenant reports antisocial behaviour or if another person makes a report of antisocial behaviour about them
- if a support agency, relative, neighbour or friend contacts us on behalf of the tenant to report any concern
