The Proceeds Crime Act 2002 relates to the recovery and confiscation of proceeds from criminal activities and money laundering in regards to the confiscation and recovery of illegally-gained funds.

The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 regulates surveillance methods used by public bodies, including local government who can use the surveillance powers in relation to anti-social behaviour.

The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 details police powers and safeguards individual rights surrounding stop and search, arrest and detention, investigation and interviewing detainees.

The Theft Act 1968 will find a person guilty of theft if they dishonestly appropriate property that belongs to someone else intending to permanently deprive them of it.
