We recognise how distressing a fire can be. We are committed to supporting our residents if they have experienced a fire.
We can provide advice, including support for your housing needs, a Fire Safety Plus visit and support to create a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) if needed.
After the fire is extinguished by London Fire Brigade, the council's first role is to make sure that the building is safe to re-occupy. We will attend and conduct any repair works after we carry out an investigation.
Any residents affected by a fire can be supported in finding alternative accommodation, if this is needed.
