Council housing damp and mould policy - 9. Relevant legislation

This policy and associated procedure will take into account recommendations made in the following documentation:

  • Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act

H&F will meet all its obligations established by statute and contract. This includes:

  • Housing Act 1985, 2004

  • Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018
  • Minimum Level of Energy Efficiency Standard
  • Secure Tenants of Local Housing Authorities (Right to Repair) Regulations 1994
  • Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
  • Environmental Protection Act 1990
  • Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
  • Tenancy Agreement (agreed between H&F and it's tenant)
  • Equality Act 2010
