It's official. Hammersmith & Fulham has 21 of the best parks and open spaces in the country.
Judges from Keep Britain Tidy recently assessed each of the green spaces against their strict criteria before awarding a prestigious Green Flag.
Cllr Sharon Holder, H&F Cabinet Member for Public Realm, said:
Our impressive tally of 21 Green Flags means that most local residents are just a short distance from an award-winning green space. I hope everyone can enjoy them, as well as the proven health and social benefits they bring."

To win these Green Flag Awards, the council had to present a management plan to demonstrate that each park is welcoming, healthy, safe, clean and well-maintained.
In addition, the council had to prove that management of each site is carried out in an environmentally sound manner, with conservation of natural features, wildlife and historic buildings.
We work hard with our contractors to make our parks and open spaces an oasis in our busy part of London – but we couldn't do it without our local volunteer 'Friends' groups. Here's how to find out more or join your local Friends group.
