The Rugby World Cup kicked off on Friday 8 September, with England beating Argentina in their opening fixture a day later.
If you've been inspired by the likes of Owen Farrell and Courtney Lawes, there are plenty of opportunities to play the sport yourself in H&F.
Hammersmith & Fulham RFC is our local rugby club, based at Hurlingham Park in Fulham.
Established in 1978, 'The Hammers' put out multiple teams at all levels, from the men's and women's first XVs all the way down to the Little Hammers, who are just five years old.
Get involved
Whether you've played before or are completely new to the game, players of all ages are most definitely welcome.
Boys and girls aged five to 10, and boys aged 10+ can come along to training at Hurlingham Park on Sunday mornings, 10am to 12pm. Sessions start on Sunday 10 September.
There are four men's teams, with training at Hurlingham Park running 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
The club also runs two women's sides – they train 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening at Hurlingham.
Find out more about getting involved on the Hammersmith & Fulham RFC website.
Off the field, Hammersmith & Fulham RFC also has a strong social scene, and recently raised over £50,000 for the Friends of Charing Cross Hospital to buy much needed antenatal equipment.
