Please join us to mark 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
Our campaign runs from Friday (25 November) – the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women – until 10 December, which is Human Rights Day.
It forms part of our fight to end violence against women and girls in Hammersmith & Fulham.
"We're organising a range of activities to help raise awareness about violence against women and girls, and to amplify survivors' voices. Please join us," said Cllr Rebecca Harvey, H&F Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion and Community Safety.

How to get involved
ONLINE EVENT: Stand up to harassment
We've teamed up with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust – the UK's leading charity supporting survivors of stalking – to help raise awareness of unwanted and aggressive harassment.
The virtual session will offer practical tips on how to safely intervene, defuse situations and support women who are being harassed in public.
When: Tuesday 6 December
Time: 7pm-8pm
Where: Online (Zoom)
The charity was founded in 1986 by Diana and Paul Lamplugh, following the disappearance and later presumed murder of their daughter Suzy.
The 25-year-old was working at an estate agency in Fulham Road at the time of her disappearance.
She was last seen outside a property in Shorrolds Road in Fulham. Her car was later discovered outside a property on Stevenage Road, outside Bishops Park.
The cold case is among the most well-known missing persons cases in the country.
EVENT: Solidarity with the women of Iran
When: Wednesday 7 December
Time: 6pm-8.30pm
Where: 3 Shortlands, Hammersmith Road W6
Join us for a topical panel discussion on the history of oppression and activism in Iran.
The discussion will revolve around the human rights violations and wave of courageous activism happening right now.
Come along to hear from our vibrant panel of inspiring activists.
SURVEY: Lived experience with VAWG
In partnership with H&F, Women and Girls Network is running an independent consultation to help survivors of violence have their voices heard.
If you have 'lived experience', or are a professional working with survivors, please complete our anonymous survey to share your views.
It will take less than 10 minutes to complete and will directly influence H&F's response to ending violence against women and girls in the borough.
FOCUS GROUP: Help shape H&F's response to VAWG
Survivors are also invited to sign up to 1-to-1 consultation spaces.
Register your interest here or, if you prefer, send your contact details to akima@wgn.org.uk to be contacted directly.
Consultations will take place throughout November and early December 2022, in person and online, and are open for people from all genders and identities.
Get support
Earlier this year, we asked residents what H&F can do to improve women's safety at night.
It's part of our new and pioneering strategy to end violence against women and girls; our local blueprint to support survivors and hold abusers to account.
"As part of our strategy, we're working closely with the Angelou Service which brings together five local specialist organisations," said H&F Mayor, Cllr Emma Apthorp.
"They ensure survivors of VAWG have access to the best possible support tailored to their needs."
For free and confidential support, contact the Angelou Partnership on angelou@advancecharity.org.uk or call 020 8741 7008, Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, and Thursday, 10am to 9pm.
