Hammersmith & Fulham Council invite you to join us to celebrate our older residents.
The event – called 'Silver Wednesday - We'll meet again' – will be held on Wednesday 5 October at the Macbeth Centre in Macbeth Street, Hammersmith W6 9JJ.
It runs from 2pm to 6pm.
All activities are free, fully inclusive and dementia friendly.
Silver Wednesday will include:
- 'Good Oldies' singalong
- Afternoon cream tea
- Bingo with prizes
- 'Silver Ticket' raffle draw
- Art workshops
- History talk
- NHS health checks - escort to 145 King Street centre
The event is being supported by our partners DanceWest, the H&F Dementia Action Alliance and the H&F Dementia Partnership Board.

The running order for the event is:
2pm-3pm - Arrival with afternoon tea served (teas/coffees and refreshments will be available throughout)
3pm-3.45pm - Bingo (free prizes such as food hampers and fancy biscuit boxes)
3.45pm-4.15pm - Singalong of tunes with singer - tunes from the Fifties to Seventies
4.15pm-5.30pm - Art (paint + printing) session & Dancing class
5.30pm - Raffle prizes awarded
