Hammersmith & Fulham will be showing support for our armed forces' community on Saturday 25 June with a family fun day.
The celebration is being held at St Paul's Gardens, Hammersmith Road, W14 0QH. It runs from 12pm-5pm and is free for all to attend.
The day will be attended by our local Reserves, the 17 Company, Coldstream Guards, and The Royal British Legion, as well as local cadet groups, who will each provide a glimpse into military life and a chance for residents to learn about H&F's historical links to previous armed conflict.
Residents will have the chance to take a look at military vehicles and watch weapons and medical displays.
There will also be various games and musical performances from the 1940s themed singer Bunny Nightingale and the Military Marching Band.
Fresh Falafel and Betty Blythe will each have stands selling food throughout the event.
Come along and join us for a fantastic family day out.
Supporting our armed forces
H&F has signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, a promise by the nation to ensure those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly.
The borough has been awarded Gold standard as an employer, under the Covenant's Employer Recognition scheme.
