Join us for a spectacular day out in Ravenscourt Park and Bishops Park on Saturday 4 June starting at 12 noon for a big community Platinum Jubilee celebration.
Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II, has become the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne. As a nationwide celebration of Queen Elizabeth's reign there will be an extended Bank Holiday weekend, from Thursday 2 June to Sunday 5 June.
Throughout our 'Platinum Party in the Park' on 4 June there will be street food, craft stalls, games and more for all ages to enjoy.
Now, we want to get your business involved in the celebrations and are on the lookout for:
- children's entertainers
- musicians
- dance troops
- walking entertainers
- food trucks and vans
- games
- event volunteers.
If you'd like to get your business involved in H&F's Platinum Party email: EventsTeam@lbhf.gov.uk
We'll also be displaying the Derby and Buckingham Palace's evening concert on large screens.
Does your street want a party?
You can also celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a street party. And to support your celebrations, we're waiving all street party fees for the occasion.
Whether you're having tea and biscuits with your neighbours, a front garden BBQ, or are organising an entire buffet spread with your street in honour of the occasion, you won't have to pay a single fee.
All you need to do is register your event through our website and get party planning.
The Big Jubilee Lunch
Over the long Bank Holiday weekend many will be combining their street party with the national Big Jubilee Lunch.
The Big Lunch is a chance to celebrate your local community and to get to know your neighbours a little more. Don't forget to book your event through our website and download your starter pack from the Eden Project.
Platinum Picnic in the Park
If your street isn't organising its own party, or you simply can't choose which celebration to attend, why not come to one of our Big Lunches, Sunday 5 June, in Ravenscourt Park and Bishops Park?
Bring your own food or buy lunch from one of the food stands, and enjoy the Platinum Jubilee with other residents from across the borough.
Don't forget to bring your own picnic blanket or chairs to sit on. We will also be handing out some tables, on a first come, first served basis.
