Housing Online user guide - Registering for a Housing Online account

Step 1

You will need to be logged in to My Account to register for Housing Online.

If you have not already registered for a My Account, please follow the step in Registering for My Account

If you have already registered, go to My Account, log in and click on the Go to Housing Online button.

Step 2

On the Housing online Log in screen click on Register for a Housing Online Account button

Step 3

On the Housing Online registration screen, enter your email address and create a password. The password needs to have at least:

  • nine characters
  • one capital letter
  • one lowercase letter
  • one number
  • and one of these special chararacters ! @ ^ _ * ~

Then click Next.

Step 4

A verification email will be sent to your registered email address.

Open the email and click Verify me.

If you can't find the email, please check your spam and junk folders.

Step 5

You will be taken to a page where you will be asked for further details.

At this stage, you will need either your housing register application reference, rent payment reference, tenancy reference or person reference.

Please check any letters you have received from the H&F Council to find these reference numbers.

If you need help finding a reference number or your personal details are not being recognised correctly, please contact us at housingonlinesupport@lbhf.gov.uk or call our Customer Service Centre on 0800 023 4499.

After filling in the details and reading the declaration, tick the 'I agree to the above' box, you can then click Finish.

Step 6

After clicking Finish you will see the following message, confirming that you have successfully registered.

Click Continue to Login.

Step 7

You will be taken to the Housing Online log in page.

Put in your new Housing Online log in details and click Log in to Housing Online.
