Hammersmith & Fulham Council is now offering a fixed annual return of 4.2% over five years in a Green Investment scheme.
It's a chance to make money and a difference as part of H&F's £5million council-community scheme. Every pound invested directly funds vital green projects to benefit local people and nature.
The offer is open to everyone, with investments starting from £5. It will run for three months – or until the target is reached.
Residents and businesses can join an online webinar on Thursday 13 March, 12pm, to learn how to get started and get their questions answered from experts at Abundance Investment.
Cllr Rowan Ree, H&F Cabinet Member for Finance and Reform, said:
We're bringing together investors returns and local improvements in a way that works for everyone. The results speak for themselves – transformed streets, new green spaces, and better value for local taxpayers. It's the future of public sector finance."

Proven track record
Since launching in November 2023, H&F investors have helped fund vital local improvements around the borough.
This includes helping residents bring a new community garden to Frank Banfield Park in Hammersmith, complete with wildflower meadow, pond, and a habitat wall.
New rain gardens in Hammersmith are already making a difference, protecting homes and businesses from flooding while replacing grey surfaces with attractive planting that helps absorb rainfall and cool the area during hot weather.
In Fulham, Purcell Crescent is being transformed into a vibrant green space with dozens new trees for residents to enjoy, while boosting local biodiversity.
The scheme has also funded 100 bike hangars across the area, including popular locations like Trevanion Road in West Kensington. These secure facilities make it easier for residents to switch from cars to bikes for local journeys, helping cut harmful vehicle emissions on our streets.

Making H&F greener
The next phase will support more neighbourhood improvements, with a particular focus on projects that help address urban challenges like toxic air quality while creating better spaces for communities to thrive.
Additional funds raised will help support projects such as:
- New wildlife areas to enhance biodiversity
- New secure hangars to support zero-emission cargo bike deliveries
- Improvements to streets that make it safer for parents and children to walk and cycle to school instead of drive.
The offer opened 5 March and will close on 31 May, or until the investment target has been reached.
