Mozart, Brahms and Schubert are among composers set to feature in a series of free concerts being held in Fulham.
The lively Music by the Bridge concert series returns to All Saints Fulham in Bishops Park for monthly performances that are free and open to all.
Kicking off on Friday 7 February with an expressive performance of German composer Johannes Brahms' violin sonata in G major, this year's concert series will include live music featuring wind instruments, strings and choirs.
Everyone welcome
"It is a lovely atmosphere and very relaxed and welcoming," explains Anna Boucher, who curates the concerts.
"Anyone can walk in on their own, with a dog or with a child, and enjoy some wonderful music in a beautiful setting on a Friday evening. The concerts last 45 minutes, so they are very approachable."
Professional opera singer Anna – who has sung at the Royal Opera House and Royal Albert Hall – has planned the series of free concerts to appeal to both seasoned music lovers and those new to classical music.
Performers bringing their musical talents to the church in Pryor Bank in Bishops Park include Blaze Ensemble, contemporary wind group the LIPS Quintet, and Stockwell Winds.

Talented musicians
The Friday night concerts – which begin at 7.15pm with a cash bar available from 6.45pm – are also set to feature talented students from the Yehudi Menuhin School, as well as the All Saints Parish Choir.
"The concerts are for everyone. People are welcome to come on their own and just sit in a corner to enjoy the music, or spend time socialising," adds Anna, who also plays and teaches the piano and cello.
"It's all about live musical performance and getting people listening to music that they might not have done before."
Audience members can donate to a collection for All Saints Fulham's choral and organ scholarship programme for young musicians.
