Fulham Textile Studio, located a minute's walk from Fulham Broadway tube station, is open and ready for your visit.
Founded by local artist Marion Corbett, the studio is one of H&F's newest creative spaces and open to anyone – groups included – interested in having a go at textile work.
"Opening Fulham Textile Studio felt like the perfect way to bring my creative experiences together and to offer the community a space where they can learn, create, and enjoy the craft," said Marion, who has lived in Fulham for 15 years.
Her years of experience with textiles have included everything from creating bespoke textile design projects to teaching.
Everyone welcome
The studio's team offers a wide range of workshops for all skill levels, from introductory sessions to specialised courses, including group and corporate events.
"We're really excited about our corporate events," Marion explained.
"They're perfect for team building, giving colleagues a chance to work together creatively and to leave with something tangible that they've made. It's a refreshing alternative to the usual office outings."
Local youngsters can also get involved. On Monday and Tuesday mornings the studio hosts classes specifically for homeschoolers.
The studio promotes accessibility alongside creativity, and classes are all influenced by the same slogans, aimed to encourage everyone to get stuck in:

High quality materials
The studio also has machinery available to hire and sells yarns, weaving materials, knitting and tufting tools and more.
"I felt there was a real need for a creative hub in Fulham," said Marion, explaining that much London's textile scene is based in east London.
"The neighborhood deserved a space where people could not only buy high-quality materials but also learn, experiment, and connect with others who share a love for creativity. We're more than just a teaching space."
