The festive season is in full swing at Fulham Palace as the historic house and garden gets set for a sensational array of events in the coming month.
Festive illuminations, stunning decorations and a series of Christmas-themed events for all ages will transform the centuries-old house and garden in Bishops Avenue, Fulham.
From 24 November to 22 December, get ready for fun for all the family with the return of the palace's annual Christmas fair, including visits with Father Christmas and a special production of Charles Dickens' classic tale A Christmas Carol.
It starts with wreath making workshops on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 November, before an illuminated trail will light up the gardens around the 13-acre site.
With music, circus displays and appearances from a live magician, the light trail is set to be a multi-sensory experience and will run from Thursday 28 November to Sunday 22 December.
As the gardens sparkle with their dazzling display, the house and courtyard will throw open its doors for Fulham Palace's annual Christmas fair. Early birds can get a sneak peek at the adults-only evening preview event, priced £10 including a glass of prosecco, on Friday 29 November.
Fulham Palace Christmas Fair
The Christmas fair event will be held at the former home of the Bishops of London on Saturday 30 November from 11am to 5pm and the following day, Sunday 1 December from 11am to 4pm.
It will feature a marketplace of stalls across Fulham Palace's indoor rooms, marquee and main drive packed with produce from handmade wreaths to mulled wine and beautiful gifts.
Carol singers will bring the seasonal cheer, while face painting, storytelling, badge making, puppet making and a tombola will add to the fun.
Families visiting the fair on Sunday can enjoy an interactive storytelling adaptation of A Christmas Carol, perfect for children aged eight to 12.
Puppetry, song and plenty of audience interaction will bring the classic Charles Dickens' tale to life during the 45-minute performance.

Or join the free Christmas Conversations event on Tuesday 10 December to discover the types of Christmas sermons delivered at Fulham Palace from the 1950s to the 1980s.
Those determined to catch a glimpse of Santa himself can book a special meeting during the weekend of 14-15 December.
Children will have the chance to join the elves in creating a Christmas keepsake ahead of the meet-and-greet in the historic library or Bishop Sherlock's room from 9am to 5pm each day, with tickets priced at £25.
