Get into the Christmas spirit at Hammersmith Winter Festival

Our annual Hammersmith Winter Festival is back for another year – and this time with a Whitney Houston tribute act.

Traders at Hammersmith Winter Festival 2023

Our first Christmas market of 2024 is taking place in Hammersmith on Saturday 16 November. And everyone's invited.

The market will host more than 100 stalls from small, independent traders. It will run along King Street and in Lyric Square, from 10am to 4pm.

Goods on offer include Christmas wreaths, handmade candles by Shades of Blackness, crochet gifts from Happy Vanilla Crochet and house plants from Alex the Plant Guy. There'll also be everything from mulled wine to sweet treats at our global food quarter.

Throughout the day, live music will take place across three stages. With performances from market favourites including the Steel Pan Trust and Scarlett Harlett from Ru Paul's Drag Race.

Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for The Economy, said:

Whether you're coming to shop, browse or enjoy the live music, our Hammersmith Winter Festival is a great way to start the festive period here in H&F. It's also the perfect chance to support some of our small independent businesses and buy local. We've got some fantastic stalls at our market this year and I can't wait to have a look round myself."

Fun for all ages

That's not all, keep your eyes peeled for our street entertainers.

Walking amongst the crowd will be one incredibly tall tea lady, three 'badly behaved' grannies and a very big snow lion.

We've also secured this winter's hottest booking – Father Christmas will be coming along to say hello and to see who's been on their very best behaviour this year.

The fun continues for our youngest visitors with children's entertainment from Mr Bones and a bauble hunt with Hammersmith BID.

And the Hammersmith Morris Men are making a return too.

More festive fun

Can't make our Hammersmith Winter Festival? We're doing it all again in Fulham at our Christmas Market on Saturday 7 December.
