Create a pop-up playground on your street – with free space hoppers!

You can turn your neighbourhood into an exciting outdoor playground with our Play Streets programme.

Children on space hoppers at Play Street in Colwith Road.

We’ve made it easier than ever for you to meet your neighbours and bring free family fun to your local community.

With our easy-to-organise temporary road closures, kids can safely play outside their front doors while residents relax with a cup of tea and catch up.

Cllr Sharon Holder, H&F’s Cabinet Member for Public Realm, said:

It’s exciting to see residents make the most of their local spaces. There’s been more than a dozen community events on H&F’s roads this summer, from street theatre to schools’ fayres. We want communities to continue to come together, and Play Streets are perfect for that.”
