Transport for London is set to begin a series of part closures as vital upgrade works get underway.
Short-term disruption to the Piccadilly line is expected from the early morning of Saturday 17 August, when track and platforms are upgraded.
It is part of a £2.9billion investment in the line through Hammersmith & Fulham, with 94 new trains being introduced in six months' time.
Closures
- On Saturday 17 August between 12.30am to 6am (Friday night), there will be no service between King's Cross and Cockfosters. The affected stations include Hammersmith Broadway, Barons Court and Earl's Court.

From Saturday 17 August to Sunday 1 September, the line will be closed between Wood Green and Cockfosters at the northern tip, and between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge on the north-west spur to create track crossings and sidings.
The knock-on effect will be reduced services elsewhere, including to Heathrow Terminal 4 and between Wood Green and Acton Town.
Transport for London is urging passengers to consider alternative tubes and buses, with full details of the part-closures here.
New trains coming
The new air-conditioned trains, built in Yorkshire, will be able to transport 10% more passengers and will have walk-through carriages, wider all-double doors and better digital displays.
Stuart Harvey of TfL said: "Introducing a new fleet of trains is a huge engineering and logistical feat, with closures, where possible, kept to school holidays, when demand is reduced."
