News that Fulham Primary School has been declared ‘Outstanding’ in every area by Ofsted means every school in Hammersmith & Fulham remains ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

Fulham Primary’s latest rating followed the Ofsted visit to the Halford Road academy in April, with inspectors declaring all five measured categories to be top-notch.

Staff were praised for a commitment to ‘ensuring success for all’, while the ‘highly enthusiastic’ pupils’ behaviour was deemed ‘exemplary’.

John Lynch, head of the school which dates back to 1890, said he was thrilled by the news: “It’s testament to our wonderful staff who work so hard to ensure all pupils can flourish and succeed, as well as, of course, to our brilliant pupils.”
