Hammersmith & Fulham is bringing festive cheer to North End Road on Saturday 9 December for the street's annual Christmas Market.

Running from 10am to 4pm, the historic street will be filled with more than 100 stalls selling food from around the world, Christmas gifts, and fresh fruit and veg – a North End Road market tradition.

"It's nine years since I launched the first Christmas market in North End Road and they get bigger and better each year" said Cllr Ben Coleman, Deputy Leader of H&F.

"We've got more than 100 stalls selling food, drink and gifts, plus live music and street entertainment. It's fun for the whole family and a great showcase for our beloved Fulham high street."

Throughout the day, North End Road will be pedestrianised between Lillie Road and Dawes Road – giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy themselves.

Treats on offer include seasonal mulled wine, a glass of fizz from the Bubbly Bar, fresh mince pies, and delicious sourdough panettones from Italian Recipe Ltd.

Or why not try crunchy churros from Cinnamon & Sugars, tasty Taiwanese bites from Jou Jou Bites and a modern twist on fish and chips from Twist and Fry?

There'll also be textiles by local artists, alpaca wool accessories, festive scented candles, handmade children's outfits, bespoke jewellery and masses of other things to buy.

Santa and more

Santa will be making his usual visit, and the guest list also includes beloved snowman Olaf, a pair of knitted elves and one very tall tea lady.

They'll be out and about in the crowds, while on stage George Michael tribute act Johnny Mack will be singing the classics. He's being supported by music from DJ Boots, the Fulham Brass Band, and vintage style singer Bunny Nightingale.
