The Fulham Camerata choral group's charity concert in Ashington Road – called Hallelujah and the Holidays – starts at 6.30pm. The FREE concert is in support of The Felix Project, a food re-distribution charity in fighting food waste and hunger in London. Everyone is welcome.

The concert will kick off with a rehearsal led by the group's conductor Harry Castle. "It will be an exciting evening with the most festive of all music pieces, the Hallelujah Chorus of Handel's Messiah," explains Harry.

"As this is Christmas and the spirit of togetherness is so important, we would like you to sing along with us in this classic piece."

The musical evening will see the 35-strong group of singers perform excerpts from Handel's mid-18th century choral piece at Holy Cross Church. They'll be joined by a medley of stringed instruments and accompanied by pianist Chris Potts.

The concert will also include a variety of traditional carols, including Once in Royal David's City, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and O Little Town of Bethlehem.

The event will conclude with mince pies and mulled wine.
