The magic of Christmas comes to Westfield as the shopping centre launches a new outdoor ice rink and festive winter village.

Skaters can glide across the ice under an array of twinkling illuminations during the 1,000sqm rink's opening run from 19 November to 8 January.

Taking centre stage will be a towering 65-foot decorated Christmas tree – believed to be the tallest to feature on an ice rink in Europe.

Open daily for skating sessions starting from 10am to 9pm, the outdoor ice rink is a chance to enjoy some festive sparkle this winter and get active in the fresh air or under the stars.

Skating tickets are priced from £15.50 for adults and £11 for children with discounts available for students, families, groups and key workers.

Skating aids are available to hire for little ones finding their feet on the ice, while tickets for each 45-minute session include skate boot hire.

The festive fun continues off the ice as Westfield London's seasonal events programme includes a choir singing competition for local schools throughout December.

Young visitors can enjoy a free, walk-up 'Meet Santa' experience each weekend in December, as well as every day from 19-24 December.

Meanwhile, 'Santa's Breakfast and Bowling with his Elves' children's event will be hosted in collaboration with All Star Lanes on the same dates.
