Tackling fuel poverty
Last month saw an unprecedented £700-a-year rise in electricity and gas costs following the introduction of a new energy price cap.
The increase was said to be driven by a record rise in global gas prices over the last six months according to Ofgem, Britain's energy regulator.
With the next cap price review scheduled for October, energy prices this winter could be twice as high as last year.
Help is at hand
