Who is eligible?
Lots of different organisations are eligible to become HAF providers.
These include:
- church groups
- forest schools
- specialist SEND providers
- youth groups
- sports clubs
- farms
- leisure centres
- theatre schools
- libraries.
What are the programme expectations?
- Provide 85% of places to benefit related free school meal children.
- Operate for a minimum of 4 hours a day.
- Include both enriching and physical activities to create a balanced programme for children and young people.
- Incorporate helping children to understand more about the benefits of healthy eating and nutrition as well as opportunities to learn about healthy lifestyles and exercise.
- Include a healthy meal for each attendee.

- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
