About me
My name is Sophie. I have opened my own Childminding premises called Baby Town, in Farm Lane SW6, to share my enthusiasm and experiences with a team of other childminders and assistants.
My childminding setting is a home from home in a nice Victorian house with all the comfort of a home environment with learning and opportunities to practice additional languages like Spanish and French. We encourage children using part of the Montessori philosophy to grow, develop and experience life at their own pace, learning to do things for themselves to encourage independence and self-esteem.
We give individual and close attention to each child and cater to their own individual needs. Safety, care, and happiness of children are paramount and we offer many opportunities and activities as well as having the flexibility of home care. We love being outside and giving children the time which they can gain from the simple things in life.
It may be possible to provide extra childminding hours, before or after the core hours. Please contact me to discuss.

Supporting children with additional needs
I have a clear approach to identifying, supporting, and responding to the needs of all children as explained in Childcare support for children under 5 with SEND. I support all children to learn at their own pace and in their own way, in a safe and positive way.
