West Kensington ward is located in the east of Hammersmith & Fulham and is bordered by West Cromwell Road to the north and Lillie Road to the south.

The ward is in the borough's central sub-region.

The ward is almost entirely residential in character, with most commercial premises situated alongside North End Road and Lillie Road.

It is one of the smaller wards in H&F, and over the past 10 years, the population has decreased by 10%.

The ward has a mix of affluent areas and deprived neighbourhoods. 44% of residents rent their homes privately and 32% are in the social rented sector.

The overall population is middle-aged, single, and relatively healthy. A high proportion of the population works in well-paid professional jobs mainly in professional, scientific and technical activities.
