Blythe Road in Brook Green connects Hammersmith Road to Shepherds Bush Road. It's home to a range of independent shops and hospitality-based businesses.
The new Blythe Road Business Association has put in place a clear action plan, with a focus on branding, and events.
Previous events included:
- Celebrating the Coronation of Kings Charles III with a live stream of the ceremony, all day 'afternoon' tea with lots of cake, and family entertainment and activities throughout the day, face-painting and children's jewellery-making!
- Blythe Road businesses organised Halloween tricks and treats all down the street for local children, and parents (and dogs). There were spiders and ghosts to spot, as well as lots of candies and cakes to eat.
- A beautifully designed Christmas card from the Blythe Road businesses to their local community thanking them for their loyal custom.
There is a plan to repeat a Halloween celebration in 2024 so don't forget to walk down Blythe Road in your costume to collect some candy. You may also spot an Autumnal themed decoration along the shop front windows.
The business association is always looking for more businesses to become involved and engaged in the planning and delivery of projects for the local area.
