Hammersmith & Fulham Council has unveiled 250 new electric bikes available for residents and visitors.
The partnership with HumanForest adds to the growing network of e-bicycles announced last month with provider Dott.
There are now 500 e-bikes available to rent on a pay-as-you-bike basis from various locations across the borough.
H&F is the first west London location to offer the forest green bikes, which run on 100 per cent certified renewable energy.
Agustin Guilisasti, founder & CEO of HumanForest, said: "Our launch in H&F marks an important milestone for the company as we become London's largest eBike operator.
"Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and we are thrilled to partner with H&F and support their quest to become London's greenest borough."
Dedicated bike parking in a street near you
To ensure that the new e-bikes won't obstruct narrow pavements or cycle lanes, we've created more than 35 dedicated cycle parking spaces for the bikes, with another 40 to follow in the next few weeks.
They can be found in streets, parks and public places across H&F, ensuring that our residents are never far away from the next bike bay. They include:

Get rolling
Renting a new HumanForest bike costs 15p per minute – the first 10 minutes are free and there's no unlocking charge.
And if you work for an H&F-based business, anyone over the age of 18 will be able to sign up for 20 minutes' worth of free cycling – every day for a whole month.
Please register your interest by emailing partnerships@humanforest.co.uk mentioning the company you work for. The offer expires Friday 1 July.
Travelling sustainably
H&F's joint venture with HumanForest is just one of the ways in which we're empowering H&F residents to travel sustainably, cut carbon emissions and take climate action together.
Our many cycling initiatives, including our recently launched bike rental scheme Try Before You Bike, form part of a wider strategy to make cycling one of the go-to forms of transport the people who visit, work and live in H&F.
This will help us reduce the number of polluting journeys within the borough to improve local air quality, reach our target of net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 and become the greenest borough in Britain.
