Our project
Connecting the White City business area to local schools.
A one-day event that brings together a selection of business organisations and other employers in one space to enable local school pupils to ask questions and find out about the organisations present.
The themes will include enterprise, innovation, employability skills, green skills, and career options.
The one-day event will take place in the White City Place so the young visitors will experience the area first hand. The plan is to develop the idea with repeat days and deepen links between the schools and business organisations present.
Our project goals
- To engage local school children to increase their connection to business and employment in the White City Business Area and to raise their aspirations.
- To encourage business engagement between the schools and the employers.
- To enable school children to develop a greater awareness of how a business operates and the nature of work.

Location: Details of event location (in White City) will be confirmed during registration.
Time: 10:30am to 11:45am (session 1), 12:30pm to 1:45pm (session 2).
Capacity: 150 students per event, across two sessions.
