On 6 August 2024 Hammersmith & Fulham Council adopted its new supplementary planning document to help guide development in Hammersmith town centre.

‘’This Supplementary Planning document is a clear statement of our commitment to continue to deliver on our pledges to our residents. It provides an important tool so we can be pioneering in our approach to promoting regeneration and managing change in Hammersmith Town Centre so that everyone benefits and we can take even greater pride in this Centre,’’ said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for the Economy.

New and improved standards

The new ‘Supplementary Planning Document’ offers guidance to developers, landowners, homeowners, planning officers and other interested parties when preparing and assessing planning applications.

The new supplementary planning principles are designed to provide guidance to H&F’s Local Plan regarding development in Hammersmith Town Centre while addressing the ambitions of the council’s Industrial Strategy

The document also reflects our vision for 2030, including our ambitious target to reach net zero carbon emissions in H&F by 2030.
