Proud of your pelargoniums or potatoes, or think you can serve up award-winning homemade jams and chutneys?
Fulham Horticultural Society’s autumn show will showcase the best of the season’s produce, and is open to all keen gardeners and budding Mary Berrys.
Whether you’ve got radiant roses and dahlias, perfectly-formed beetroots and courgettes, or can serve up a Victoria sponge to challenge the best of the Great British Bake Off, you could be in with a chance of winning one of dozens of classes at the annual show.
Being held on Saturday 8 September at St Etheldedra’s Church Hall, in Fulham Palace Rd, the annual celebration of all things horticultural also includes classes for floral art, handicrafts and for youngsters under 16.
“All are welcome to enter vegetables, flowers, fruit and a variety of domestic categories,” said Nicole Coleman, honorary secretary at Fulham Horticultural Society.
“This is a chance to show the flowers and vegetables from your garden, and be the next Mary Berry in the domestic field!
“Or just come along on the day to see the best of local produce, enjoy a cup of tea, a piece of cake, and meet the neighbours. Some produce will be available at bargain prices at the end of show.”
