We have a long history of creativity and culture and are renowned for being the home of UK broadcast and media production with the BBC and ITV having a major presence in the area.
White City is the HQ of BBC Worldwide and BBC Studioworks, who offer studio space and post production expertise for hire to other production companies.
ITV has its London HQ here, housing over 2,000 staff and bringing all it's London based teams into one place for the first time.
They're not the only ones to have moved to H&F in recent times.
The Royal College of Art, experts in digital animation and the world's most influential postgraduate institution of art and design, has opened it's school of communication in White City. The site adds a new dimension to the College's cultural offer, with opportunities for collaborations, exhibitions and events.
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a world leading drama school based in West Kensington. The facilities at the school can be hired including:
- New Virtual Production Studio and Motion Capture Studio
- An audio studio for voice overs, short films, self-created work and digital showcase scenes
- 3 theatres and 16 rehearsal studios
Creative Enterprise Zone
The borough has also been accredited by the Mayor of London as 1 of 12 Creative Enterprise Zones (CEZ) across London.
Our CEZ stretches from Imperial College London's White City campus in the north of the zone to West Brompton Station in the south, including Shepherds Bush, the White City Innovation District, Olympia, and Earl's Court.
