About us
Zebedee is a Christian nursery school, so our curriculum supports Christian values.
- We have a good balance of free play and adult initiated teaching.
- We love art so the children experience several opportunities to be creative.
- We have a dance, music and French teacher that comes in once a week. We also do TARKA developmental exercise, kids fit club, teddy tennis and Kindergarden gardening club.
- We provide a stimulating and fun environment for children to blossom.
- We work hard to build up children's self esteem and we want them to be the best they can be. Our strap line is 'roots to grow, wings to fly'.
At Zebedee Nursery School we have a supportive parents committee and a very strong partnership with parents. We believe that parents are the child's first teacher, so we try an encourage their involvement with the school.
We received an Ofsted rating of 'Good' in our 2022 inspection.
Supporting children with additional needs
We are an inclusive nursery school and support children with different needs. We have a private speech therapist that comes in weekly and we also work with Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Educational Psychologists (EPs) when necessary.
