Wandsorth Bridge Nursery School is ran by the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) which is a social enterprise and a non-profit organisation. LEYF currently runs 38 community nurseries in and around London, with emphasis on providing a high-quality nursery experience for families, regardless of their background.
Wandsorth Bridge Nursery School opened in March 2015 and its facilities include three children's rooms: an under '2's -room with a children's changing area and a milk kitchen, a 2-3's'room and a 3-5's' room. Both the 2-3's room and the 3-5 room offer easy access to the children's bathroom and toilet. In addition, there is a kitchen where fresh healthy meals and snacks are made for the children. All rooms have a direct, access to the garden. The nursery has a security system which is controlled in each room by a video intercom and phone.
We believe in a highly stimulating environment that provides fun and enjoyable experiences for the children, through a child centred approach which enhances and supports their development. The allocated key person plays an important role in ensuring that children are progressing in their development.
By having high expectations and activities that reflect the children's interests, we are promoting the importance of children being able to learn and achieve through having fun and enjoying the consistently high level of learning experiences.
