About us
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is located in the heart of West Kensington, a convenient 5-minute walk from Kensington Olympia, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith Tube stations.
We have 4 dedicated nursery spaces for 4 different age ranges, including mobile and non-mobile babies. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to be accessible to every child. Each room has been carefully designed to create a safe and secure environment for your child to develop and learn through play.
Here at Monkey Puzzle, our fees are inclusive of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks. Our daily menus are carefully selected by a professional nutritionist to meet energy requirements of growing children.
Supporting children with additional needs
We support our children according to their needs.
Through observations, if a child is not meeting developmental milestones, a 'Support & Talk Tool' is created to share with the child's parents during a consultation meeting. Here, areas of development are discussed and the parents are also given the opportunity to explore any concerns they have. Following this, an individual support plan is then created to implement strategies for the child to bridge the gap in learning.
Some children may require further support from the local authority and with the parents consent, we can request an education, health and care plan (EHCP) for the child.
We work with parents and other professionals to ensure the best outcome for the child.
