The Michelle Bourne Dance Academy has been running dance classes in London for children aged 5 years and above for 13 years.
Children are trained in tap, ballet, contemporary/jazz, musical theatre and street dance.
The classes offered by the Michelle Bourne Dance Academy do not only train children to dance, but also build confidence, fitness and flexibility.
A selection of pupils have performed on television with our Street Dance Troupe “Chaos” beating hundreds of other dance groups across Britain to make it to the semi-final of BBC1’s Comic Relief Does Glee Club where they performed Live.
Members have also auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and Alesha’s Street Dance Stars and regularly perform in shows and competitions where they have won numerous awards.
Pupils have also performed at prestigious theatres such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, the London Palladium and Sadler’s Wells and a selection of children have also successfully auditioned for television/film roles, adverts and promotional campaigns.
Children are also given the opportunity to take examinations with the International Dance Teacher’s Association where most children have achieved marks of honours and highly commended.
