About us
The Little Tug Boat is a small, independent family nursery in Fulham, London. Our wonderful Victorian house is home to 34 children each day, aged from 3 months to 5 years.
We are committed to providing a loving and nurturing home-from-home experience for all of our children. Most importantly, we celebrate every child's individuality to build confidence, creativity and independence through their early years.
Our mission is to help every child learn well. Our highly experienced crew ensure a diverse and varied curriculum, filled with many wonderful activities to support the development of every child. Our Tug Boat chef cooks all of our delicious meals from scratch using high quality, locally sourced ingredients. We strive to a non-toxic nursery environment for the health and well-being of all of our children, families and ourselves.
Supporting children with additional needs
We strive to create a supportive environment for all children using visual aids, social stories and a big focus on well-being and mental health. We get to know the children very well enabling us to identify potential special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We set high expectations for the children and provide extra help for those who need it, through a small, dedicated team of highly skilled practitioners. We observe and record children's development regularly, highlighting any concerns with parents and supporting families with strategies.
