About us

Little Forest Folk run fully outdoor forest nurseries that immerse little ones in nature, unleashing their creativity, wonder and imagination.

Our Fulham nursery is situated in the magical grounds of Fulham Palace, where children's imaginations are free to run wild. We follow the core Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and incorporate learning in a safe and secure outdoor environment, where free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world and physical activity are an integral part of learning.

There are two options for attending Little Forest Folk Fulham, a Full day (all year round) or a Sessional day (term time only). Full days include breakfast, lunch and dinner, whereas Sessional days are shorter days that include breakfast and lunch. Both include a morning and afternoon snack. We ask for a minimum commitment of at least two days per week per child.

Supporting children with additional needs

At Little Forest Folk, we use a child-centred approach to SEND and inclusion. Our team works with families to capture observations and record keeping to capture the child's strengths as well as areas that need support.

We may individualise our planning to ensure that resources, activities and levels of adult support and intervention are adapted so the child has equal access to our play and learning. Where necessary (and with parental consent) we also work with the local inclusion officer to ensure the best level of support for both children and their families are in place.
