About me

My name is Djouhra. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2003, living with my husband Adel who is my assistant.

We are located in Shepherds Bush, a 5 minute walk from Westfield shopping centre, and a 2 minute walk from Shepherds Bush Market tube station. We are a bilingual family, where French is our first language and have a garden with a slide, playhouse, sand pit, water play and more.

The children in my care participate in a wide variety of activities including music, dance, reading, art and craft activities, puzzles and games as well as park trips, and visits to the library, play group and children's centre. I provide all of this with healthy home cooked nutritious food in a nurturing family environment.

I work very closely with parents, responding to concerns and offering guidance and advice in every aspect of parenthood.

I have a caring and patient nature and a very good sense of humour. I offer a very flexible service and undertake my work professionally with confidence and total commitment.

I believe that childhood is a wonderful time, filled with so much innocence, and I am totally committed to ensuring that every moment a child spends with us is productive and fun. As a registered childminder I am committed to the welfare and development of all the children in my care and will ensure that their environment is safe, warm, friendly and productive.

I have a clear approach to identifying, supporting, and responding to the needs of all children as explained in Childcare support for children under 5 with SEND. I support all children to learn at their own pace and in their own way, in a safe and positive way.
