Addison ward is located in the east of Hammersmith & Fulham, and is bordered to the north by Shepherds Bush Green ward and to the south by Brook Green ward.
The ward is in the central sub-region of the borough.
The ward is almost entirely residential in character, with the exception of the W12 Shopping Centre, a large commercial centre.
It is one of the smaller wards in H&F, and there has been no large change in population size over the past 10 years. It has a large working-age population.
40% of residents rent privately and under 30% live in property that they own.
The ward is a relatively affluent area. The overall population is middle-aged and young, single, healthy and skilled.
A high proportion of the population work in well paid professional jobs mainly in professional, scientific and technical activities or the information and communication sector.
