Our register office at Beavor Lane is closed on Monday 25 December.
The office will be open from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December.
Emergency telephone burial service
On the following days the register office will be closed, but we will still offer an emergency service for the issue of greens to allow a funeral to go ahead for religious reasons.

Our emergency burial certificate service can be contacted between 9am and 12 noon on 020 8748 8588. This service is only available to facilitate urgent burials.
To use this service we will need the doctor who attended the body to email the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death directly to us at dsbreg@lbhf.gov.uk
You will not be able to use this service if the death has been reported to the coroner or if you intend to take the deceased out of the country. This service will be over the telephone with the electronic transfer of documents via secure email to the funeral director. Please do not attend the register office.
