We're trying our best to reduce the number of accidents on our streets and pavements – it's part of our commitment to serving the community.
However, if you have an accident because of a pothole in a road or an uneven pavement, you may wish to send us an insurance claim.
We will only consider a claim if it was our fault for not looking after the road or pavement in question. You also have to claim within three years of the date of the accident.
You're not automatically entitled to compensation. For your claim to be successful you have to prove that we were negligent.
We have a duty to protect public funds and we may use the information you provide to prevent and detect fraud.
