This permit allows key workers to park near their place of work in Hammersmith & Fulham.
Key workers include emergency services (police, ambulance and fire brigade). To be eligible to apply for a key worker permit you or your employee must be defined as a key worker by the government.

If you are a key worker in Hammersmith & Fulham you can apply for a parking permit to park near your place of work. If you work in different locations across the borough, you can apply for an all zone parking permit to allow you to park in any standard on street parking bay* in the borough.
The permits can be bought for any multiple of months up to 12 months.
You must reapply each time your permit is due to expire.
There are two types of key worker permit available.
All zone permit
The all zone permit is available for key workers who work in more than one location in Hammersmith & Fulham. This permit will allow you to park in standard on street parking bays in any zone in the borough.
Single zone permit
The single zone permit is available for key workers who work in one location in Hammersmith & Fulham. This permit will allow you to park in standard on street parking bays in the specific zone where your place of work is located.
Charges
Single zone: £70 per month, £791 per year
All zone: £350 per month, £3995 per year
Payment
You will be required to make a one off payment for the full amount for the number of months you choose. You will need to reapply when the permit is due to expire.
We will contact you or your employer to arrange payment if your permit is approved.
What you will need
- A letter on the organisation's letter headed paper from your employer. The letter should include your name, work address and role and state which type of permit you need and why. Please also include the permit cost in the letter. You will need to agree all the details with your employer and the letter must include your employer's details and must be signed by them.
- A valid work ID card
- A valid driving licence
- Vehicle ownership proof (for example, the vehicle registration document v5c)

* A standard on street parking bay is any parking bay where road signs shows permit holders only and shared use bays road signs that allow permit holders or pay-by-phone or pay-and-display. Doctors, disabled or loading bays are not standard parking bays.
