They can meet many social requirements, whether that be accompanying you on outings or just being there at set times throughout the day to help with household chores.
Live-in care
Their live-in care service provides you with the benefit of having a Registered Nurse or Healthcare Assistant on a one-to-one basis throughout the day and night, allowing you to maintain your independence in the comfort of your own home.
Complex care
Strand Nursing can provide a complex care service for individuals with significant nursing and clinical care needs. These might include individuals who are dependent on life sustaining technology, have physical disabilities, are suffering with degenerative conditions or have returned from hospital with long-term recovery needs.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT CARE AGENCY - A MESSAGE FROM H&F COUNCIL
H&F Council cannot recommend individual home care agencies, and does not vouch for the quality of service which they currently provide. Please refer to our disclaimer page for more information.
It is important that you satisfy yourself that you will receive the service which you need, and that it will be of a high standard. We recommend that you refer to the following websites when deciding which home care agency to use:-
- The Care Quality Commission website– they inspect home care agencies regularly and publish their inspection reports online, highlighting what an agency does well and where there is a need for improvement
· The NHS Choices website– they allow you to search for home care agencies in your area, to see what other people have said about them, and to rate them yourself based on your experiences
