Mary Seacole House is an Extra Care Housing scheme which provides a home for 34 – primarily older (60+ years old) – people with varying care needs. Care UK and Hanover Housing Association manage the scheme, which comprises 32 social rented flats. An on-site team provides care and support round the clock, depending on how much care each resident needs. In addition to the self-contained flats, residents can choose to use communal spaces to relax, socialise or take part in organised activities.
Eligibility for a move to an extra care scheme is subject to an assessment of your care needs with your local council.
