LBHF Housing floating support is a free, short term service to residents in the borough who are living independently in any type of accommodation and are having difficulties managing their home. Floating support can help you resolve a crisis and improve your skills and confidence to take control of your life and make your own decisions.
Main clients:
- those who are at risk of losing their tenancy
- those who are at risk of losing their independence
- those leaving hospital/prison or care and need support with living in the community independently
What we do:
- We can support with moving into a new property or supported accommodation.
- Support with moving from TA to more independent accommodation they are able to manage.
- Assistance with managing finances; managing bills, applying for the correct benefits, form filling.
- Linking clients into education, employment or training.
- Support with accessing mental and physical health services
