LBHF Floating Support Service

LBHF Housing floating support is a free, short term service to residents in the borough who are living independently in any type of accommodation and are having difficulties managing their home. Floating support can help you resolve a crisis and improve your skills and confidence to take control of your life and make your own decisions.

Main clients:

  • those who are at risk of losing their tenancy
  • those who are at risk of losing their independence
  • those leaving hospital/prison or care and need support with living in the community independently

What we do:

  • We can support with moving into a new property or supported accommodation.
  • Support with moving from TA to more independent accommodation they are able to manage.
  • Assistance with managing finances; managing bills, applying for the correct benefits, form filling.
  • Linking clients into education, employment or training.
  • Support with accessing mental and physical health services

You can make a referral by downloading an application , or contact the Floating Support Access and Referral Adviser on 020 8753 1437 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) to request an application form or to go through the form over the phone.
