Kensington Gardeners Club

Small friendly club which meets six times a year, and organises coach outings to interesting gardens.

Members learn about plants and gardens in the company of like-minded people. The Club arranges talks from well-respected gardening professionals on a wide variety of gardening subjects.

There is a small fee to become a member.

Club Meetings

Club meetings and talks take place in the basement lecture theatre at Kensington Central Library, Phillimore Walk, London W8 7RX. 

Doors open at 2.00pm and talks commence at 2.30pm.  Club meetings are free to members.  Members are welcome to bring guests at a cost of £5 per guest.

Tea and biscuits follow the meetings at modest cost.  This is a good opportunity to meet fellow members and socialise.

Competitions

They have a garden competition in the summer and the categories are:

  • Large Gardens
  • Patio Gardens, Roof Terraces and Container Gardens
  • Window Boxes and Containers
