The Independent and work ready CIC website offers a self directed learning resource for those with disabilities to learn about adult life topics such as disability and work, volunteering, benefits, health both physical and mental health, relationships, education, disability parenting, leisure, tourism, sport, technology, driving, clothes, life skills topics like understanding politics, the law, finance, literacy assistance.
It also includes information on specific disabilities and learning difficulties like Dyslexia, moderate learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD, mental health, sensory disabilities, physical disabilities like Cerebral Palsy.
It intends to offer an inclusive jobs and volunteering board, as well as support with employability and disability mentoring, run for and by those with a disability.
